Red 84 Grand National

Im new to the GN cars and i wanted to know if any came in red in 1984 . A guy i know has one and he says its factory red even under thr door rubber and under the hood. Any info would help mr decide on weather to buy it or not.He also said that is 1 of only 800 made in red with red interior.
