Diamond Back

Let me amend by statement.

The only Redlines available are 35 year old designs

OR Recapped used tires that I wouldn't go over 100 mph on.

The Diamond Back Redlines are not "recaps", nor are they "used".

Here's the link info once again, for the facts.

Simply visit Classic White Wall Tires - Vintage Tires - Redline & Redline Radial Tires for Antique and Classic Cars and check out:

"Why Choose Diamond Backs?"

and

"F.A.Q.s"

You can even get redline M/T DRs (or almost any other tire made)

Product Reviews - Diamond Back III Radial Redlines

And other colors are also available (gold, blue, etc.)

Thanks for the $.02 everyone... It does not seem to be a popular idea with the majority but I still think I'm going to go ahead and do it. If I don't like the looks I can always sell them off to my father for his Nova. I think I will like the looks of it though.

Jack- Thanks for posting that site up! Coker tire has them and they are local but now I have another dealer to check with pricing!

So they are selling an S rated Yokahama that costs $70 as a Blackwall for $166 as a Redline.

That would be great for a classic musclecar. Anything would be better than original polyglas redlines or repo coker redlines if you want to actually drive somewhere, but $400 extra to have 4 redstripes where I don't need redstripes. No thanks.
