hello; I got to go to the Sox game Sunday. Day game Sox lost it the 9th. I never got a foul ball before but I missed my chance. A sky high foul ball came right down on me and I femmed out in catching it and missed it under the seat behind me. The guy behind me didn't try and catch it either but he got the ball. Later that game a women in the area got one of the head and was shaken a bit.
I'll be back to the park and I won't femme out this time.

My father (RIP) caught a foul ball at Yankee stadium back in the 70's. Problem was he caught it in the forehead. Knocked him out cold. They gave him the ball complete with bloodstain. Still have it today in my office. Funny at the games these days with everyone texting non stop it surprising that more people aren't getting hit.

was that at a Toronto game? saw that happen in the 70's - Toronto game. First base side, towards right field. guy got hit in the forehead, knocked out, bleeding.

Can't remember who the Yankees played that day but we were on the 3rd base side, front row by where they rolled up the tarp. Was a Yankee batter, name was Hal Lanier who hit him. Foul ball hit the tarp and bounced up into the seats. I saw it coming and ducked, my father did not!
