What stall does a red stripe have? Also I have a red stripe in the car with a te-61 turbo. I was thinking about going to a TCS 9/11 in either 3200 or 3400 stall range. Who should I call? What would you guys suggest? Thanks!

anyone have a clue about my converter?

I still am trying to get an idea on how much stall my red stripe is supposed to be.

my guess would be 2500-2800, after that a 12" convertor doesn't work to well. for the 61 i would definatly consider a 3200 or higher 9/11 or CKs new 10/12 (same thing) if funding permits and the tranny is in good enough condition so it doesn't break and ruin the new convertor

our 10 /12 would be a good choice@3200 rpm stall.its on sale this month .see the vendors section or contact me via email.

Red stripe torque convertor

The red stripe torque convertor should be a 2800 stall. It all depends at how much lbs of you com out at. For example this is the torque I am using in my car, and when I crank the boost up to 5lbs the torque stalls at about 2600. When I Crank the boost up to 9lbs the torque stalls at 2900+ rpm. I haven't tried more than 9lbs of boost, but I did my best 60ft this way.(1.52)
