refurbished rear view mirrors ?? help

i have parted out several g bodys and most of the inside mirrors are delaminating or getting black spots or glass is flaking off inside or whatever you want to call it.

somebody needs to start putting new mirror glass in our inside rear view mirrors.


anybody else notice this?

i can provide cores to kick this off if needed

Hi Was able to bring mine to a glass place where I knew the owner.He was able to make them look new.....HTH'd rob

You can get those mirrors from almost any 80-90s cars from the junkyard.

i have had close to 60 g bodies and most are shot! so there seems to be a trend here! also there are diffrences on the part that the mirror mounts to the windshield. i have tried on a couple occassions to swap mirrors from diffrent years and it would not work because of diffrent sizes

I got mine from a 1990 grand am. They were exactly the same what came out of my car and my limited. fbody should be the same also.
