I just purchased a spearco IC setup for my 85 GN... wont go on anytime soon, but in the near future. I have heard that relocating the TB to the pressure side of things will drasticall improve off idle response, and generally make the car more driveable. From what I hav read, this is as easy as cutting some fo the piping from the spearco kit, and placing the throttle body with some silicone hoses in the hsoe right before it turns down into the intake. My only question is, what does one do about teh vacuum block and vacuum lines? Originally, they are mounted on the throttle body, which sees constant vacuum of one degree or another since it is before the turbo, right? If it is located to the rpssure side of things, wont those vacuum lines then be recieveing boost whenever the turbo is in boost? if so, wont this wreak havoc with all the accesories that are using that vacuum signal to operate (heater control valve, etc etc etc). Is there some somple way to tap them all off of a pre-turbo vacuum source? I know many on this board have done the throttle body relocation.. what have you done with your vacuum lines? Just curious as this will be an issue im facing soonish. THanks for the advice!!
