remote mirror control

Looking for the remote controller for the mirror. Check picture. The aluminum gadget that holds the three wires is broken. So I am looking to replace it.

I have some of those, however I just clipped the cables on bad mirrors. If you want one I have a few available. How in the world do you take the cables out without harming them?

The first one, passenger side, I must of got lucky. A screw driver and needle nose. The one that needs replacing not so lucky. Vary hard and a lot of time.
