My car came with the dealer supplied "brown crud" undercoating. What's the best method of removal without having to redo the entire engine compartment? Gasoline on a rag?

Thanks,

James

PS, anybody willing to come over and help? ;)

I guess you have to scrape that crap off.

I was checking out your pics and thats a nice car. Also where did you get a 2 story house in pense I thought they were all 1 stories. I want to move there but my wife want's 2 floors. My uncle lives in pense and he has a transmission shop on Palafox ave. He just built my 2004-r for me shifts real hard. If you need a rebuild check him out.

There are lots of 2 story houses being constructed now in Pensacola. There are a few older ones as well. New construction techniques allow 2 story houses to meet strict windload requirements. I can suggest a few places to look if you're interested.

That's not Hirst Transmission is it? If so, I've delt with George before. He seems like a nice guy. In fact, my old neighbor built his shop for him.

Take care,

James

I had that factory under coating on my extreme and I used nerver dull it works good give it a shot and if it's real bad dip it in gas.

Yeh George Hirst is my uncle he is a great guy. Man he do anything for someone. Send all your trans business to him.

Can I get a house like that for less then 200g's? Do you have a 2 car garage? Thats the most important thing I just need a nice garage with a detached house.

Yes!

Cost of living is much cheaper down here. I'm getting ready to build a new garage with over 1600 sq ft and with that including the house I'll still be 15k shy of 200k.

www.realtor.com will give you some ideas. Don't forget to include some of the surrounding areas. Most people I know who work in Pensacola live north of town or in the Pace/Milton area.
