I want to do this right the first time (hopefully).
I have a set of poly bushings for my lower control arms, and plan on boxing them.
I removed them from the car and cleaned them up a bit to get them ready for welding.
Can someone verify the correct steps to take?

I was thinking in this order....

remove control arms
tack weld the sway bar bolt spacer inside the control arms
box control arms
remove old bushings
install new ones
reinstall arms and swaybar

Does this look like the right order?
Anything I am missing while the arms are off?

I am just getting ready to do this on the GN to get rid of the wheel hop. Been researching and using this info: http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/suspension/boxingctrl.html
Gives tips on leaving the bushings in while welding and welding in short bursts in different areas to prevent warping. I've got my eyes on those LCAs that H&R parts sell. Tim

The HR Parts stuff is very nice. If you are paying a shop to do it just buy the arms complete since its much easier to install than welding and putting in the new bushings then installing them.

I've got both the new arms and the kit on my two cars. Next time will just be the new arms complete. :)

If you have a welder and press then just get the box kit and new bushings.
