Removing factory hood hinges? PITA or cake?

I would like to remove and repaint my hood hinges is it a simple take off and reinstall or is it more involved like marking the holes to align it back etc etc.? And 20 pds. torque for the bolts? Probably would use the evaporust or metalrescue to get rid of the surface rust then just use SEM black primer and a flat black engine paint would like to do them one at a time.

I took mine off and had them powder coated. Installed them and aligned the hood with no troubles. I did not mark them, but did have a helper. A 2nd set of hands is a must.

Sweet! I'll be doing one side at a time looks like its just 4 bolts and they come right off?

Just jump in there and do it. Just make sure if you're doing one side at a time, not to let the hood get crazy and tweak the other side.
