Has anyone had experience getting the inserts out of the aluminum heads that the clamps tighten down on. ?
I am removing mine and cannot get these inserts out. I do not want them coming out driving down the road or drag strip.
I am putting on a new set of GSCA headers and cannot bring myself to start grinding on them so they will fit. Nothing against the clamps I have never blown a gasket. Real torn about this thinking but trying to rationalize it by knowing the car seems to only have c16 fuel anytime its driven so detonation should be less of a factor ?
