I see the upper has rivets. I know I have to get these out but I see about 6 rivets and what looks to be 4 Nailhead type round whatchyamacallits. Are those nailhead things rivets too? Secondly, The lower ball joint needs to be pressed correct? I have the tool here from autozone. But I just wanted to know if the bottome ball joint is held on by rivets too? Thanks!

Drill the center of the rivots out then chisel the remaining material. You only want to drill the rivot, not the control arm, check the bolts in the new ball joint to determine drill bit size.

Or if you have an air chisel, you could use that to cut the heads off the rivets and just whack the ball joint out. We just did Bandits ball joints today. That is a nice tool that Autozone has, worked great. I did all the pressing out and in work for Jeremy. :D
When you use that tool tighten it with a wrench and then give it a smack with a big hammer, thats the trick to makin it easy.
