Replace tailshaft seal

I know to some this seems like a very simple question but I've never had to replace one & need to.

Can the tail shaft seal in the trans be replace by just removing the drive shaft or does anything else have to come out.

All tips & trick welcomed....

edited: ok I forgot I got a cheezy TH200-4R manual. You simply remove the drive shaft and use a flat screw driver to pry the old seal out. As for installing the new seal, you slowly tap around the cirumference of the seal evenly.
