Replacing filter on the Charcoal canister...

Has anyone replaced there filter on there charcoal canister? if so how do you do it and where can i get a filter? also which auto place sells a check valve that attach to the vacuum line to the canister...Thanks

Not sure if it was correct or not - but after looking at some - I just cutout round pieces from batt insulation - seemed to be more or less similar in texture
