Replacing Floorboards

Started pricing out floorboards....How much to do it (the Labor?) What is involved? Can a newbie do it?

Buy a MIG welder and some good tin snips/cutting wheels and have at it. With no formal training I've replaced floorboards and trunk pans in my 1967 GS400 & the floorboards in my '68 Firebird.

Sure, it's a lot of work but spending the money on a welder instead of someone else's labor leaves you with a useful tool in the garage and the pride of knowing you did it yourself.

and Sherman and associates has them Poston's goes for 175.00 each side and sherman and assoc are about the same.....Stupid question I know but how much for a Mig Welder?
