Reporter is stabbed while demonstrating ''stab - proof '' vest

The reporter had it all wrong. His job is to report,not get involved in doing a demonstration of this type of product.

This is the way it should have been done; in my way of thinking.

The vice president of the company that makes the vest should have been the one wearing it and another person should have had the knife and been stabbing him with it. Then the reporter could have done his job and reported the vice president being stabbed and taken to the hospital.

No. There probably was one up to the time the vest failed and he got stabbed though. The vice president of the company would't want that to be seen,i'm sure.

There are some videos of failed bullet / knife proof vests on youtube but none of this demonstration.

What a moron......when I used to work at pontiac state prison inmate would use 4 reading magazines to make a vest. They would open the mags in the middle lay 2 togeather one for front and one behind. Then use string to connect the front and back and wear like a vest. Worked like a charm.......and was cheap.
