I recently purchased a 87 T. I’m more familiar with Buick A-body cars, and would appreciate some guidance. I assume some GN/T parts are still available from GM, but how would a individual determine what is available. Does a body service manual or a chassis manual have detailed illustrations and parts numbers? Is there a better source that has a complete parts listing for the GN/T cars? My car is a T limited, and I would like to get as much information/parts from GM while/if they are available.

Thanks,

Patrick

There is a catalog link on www.gmpartsdirect.com where you can search by part type on cars and it will give the GM part #. Should also be some part #'s on gnttype.org but I can't remember how many at the moment.
fyi.

Mark, 6pack,
Thanks for the information, and recourses. I would still like to know what the service manuals would revel for parts numbers. Do the service manuals have the parts numbers?

Thanks,

Patrick

Somebody should be able to give you more info. Just be ready to pay about 3 times as much for it. A header panel can set you back $600, the powermaster brakes were running $800-900, and so on.
