Restalling d5?

Guys,

The stock D5 stalls about 2200 rpms? When you send your converter to get it stalled higher "lets say 2800" how does the converter company make it 2800 and not 2600 or 3000? How do they know?

I true D5 should stall at 2800, it sounds like you got the cutlass or corvette converter.
