Restoring Steering Wheel

Has anyone re painted their steering wheel before? I thought I saw a thread for it with step by step process including paint type and color. I do not have any rips just paint fading badly.
Can anyone assist?

My buddy has done a couple the one in my car looks to nice I had to grub it up!
