We had quite a few fast cars at Reynold's this year. We ended up with an 8 car field although we had the potential to have more. Nearly every racer had a few issues to work out. Cruz and Fiscus were chasing traction. Harmon broke his downpipe twice. Espino had a bad battery and Hinderer was doing wheelies. I don't have the EXACT qualifying times, but these should be close:

1. Don Cruz- 8.21
2. Manny Espino- 8.28
3. Gary Harmon- 8.56
4. Dave Fiscus- 8.59
5. Brad Tennyson- 8.64
6. Justin Hinderer- 8.71
7. Richie Balcom- 9.27
8. Bill Steurnagle- 9.69

First Round:

Don Cruz vs Bill Steuernagle: Both racers had staging issues. Steuernagle never got it sorted out and Cruz got the victory with a -.202 reaction and a 17.933@78.33 to Steuernagle's Foul

Brad Tennyson vs Dave Fiscus: Fiscus spun and couldn't run Tennyson down. Fiscus had a .061 reaction and a 9.384@124.06 to Tennyson's .099 reaction and a 8.743@160.54

Manny Espino vs Richie Balcom: Balcom left Espino sleeping at the tree ;) and that's about where it ended. Espino turned up the wick with a .108 reaction and a 8.126@172.06 to Balcom's .098 reaction and 13.753@69.49 letting off.

Gary Harmon vs Justin Hinderer: Harmon's downpipe broke again. Hinderer got the mechanical bye and ran a 5.702 reaction time with a 8.852@156.72

Second Round:

Don Cruz vs Brad Tennyson: Both cars had traction issues, but Cruz had the hp advantage. Cruz had a .040 reaction with a 8.657@175.66 to Tennyson's .174 reaction with a 9.634@107.03 letting off

Manny Espino vs Justin Hinderer: Both cars left with nearly identical reaction times, but Espino had too much for Hinderer's 76mm combination. Espino had a 2.07 reaction and a 8.083@173.27 to Hinderer's .202 reaction and 10.018@155.38

TSO Finals:

This looked to be a great race with Cruz qualifying 8.21 and running the high mph for the event with 175.66 going up against BG Winner Espino. Espino had only made 3 passes for the whole weekend running 8.28 qualifying and 8.12 first round and 8.08 second round. Both cars pre-staged, Cruz lit the second bulb, when Espino tried to light the second bulb his transmission broke and he was unable to light the second bulb. Cruz ran the car out with an 8.583@176.44

I just wanted to say thanks to the Cal and Holly for the event! We certainly hope to have another one next year. It's great to travel South for some 70 degree weather in November for us! I'm looking forward to our first event next year with a new and improved combo:)

Thanks or capturing the data, turnout seemed to suffer again, but some very nice stuff showed up, glad we had 8 for TSO, got to keep it alive until I finish the project !
