Rich Knock

can anybody please explain too me what causes rich knock.

If you mean your car knocks, but is running rich then there can be several causes. A bad knock sensor, or just too much boost for the octane you are running. Running rich doesn't stop knock if the octane isn't sufficient enough. there are more reasons, but those two are the most common. Hope that helps.
