Looks like a great time; if anyone goes please take pics
If you reside anywhere near central North Carolina,
Richard Clark is hosting a major event at his shop
in Burlington, NC. It's this coming Saturday,
January 26th, beginning at 10 am. If you plan
to attend, it is important you go on the internet
NOW - go to turbobuick.com, then click on the
message board icon. scroll down to the Regional
heading. Under Southeastern area, click on
that and locate the heading that says "GM Turbo6
Directions and Head Count."
Richard needs a head count, since he is planning a
chicken barbeque for everyone that is attending.
He is making his shop available to all. He
has a tire machine, tire balancer, full dyno, test
equipment for powermaster brake units. you name it,
he's got it. His shop equals any GM dealership
facility you could name. Several lifts will also
be available.
This is certainly a rare opportunity! Of course,
I have been there, many many times over the years.
Be sure to check out the rows and rows of original
tires still in the boxes (I have shipped to him
over the years) on his shelves.
If you attend, here is a game you can play.
Give him any description of any automotive tool
you can think of, and I betcha he has it and can
actually show it to you. I was able to stump him only
once with my limited knowledge when I was there
several years ago. I was at his shop having the
GNX suspension installed in my personal blue
Turbo-T. Once he realized he didn't have the
specific tool he needed, within 24 hours he
had that simple tool added to his tool box.
He will have door prizes and will also answer
any questions concerning ZDDPlusT. From what I
am told, over 75 to 85 people are already expected.
If you have never been to his shop, you'll come away
amazed at his collection.
Oh yes, bring some desserts to share with your
fellow attendees. Wish I could be there.
