Rim repair

Just got a set of gta rims that I am going to redo but one of the fronts has about 3/4 of the center lip gone from it. The lip that the cap snaps into. Anyone know where I can get it repaired at? Thanks Daniel Ray

nope, not these. I just did some trading with a board member this morning and we met in waycross to swap some stuff between us. Going to try and get these redone and I will be putting the ones on mine up for sale soon. The are the gnx look alikes on it now with the ARP center caps that screw into the rim. They look good except I hate running spacers all the way around the car. Daniel Ray

come on guys, surely someone has had to have one repaired before . I didn't realize that the outer lip was so diffrent between the front rims and the back. Might not use them after all and just sell them. But till I decide for sure I am going to keep looking for someone that can repair this one and strip them down for a repaint to black Daniel Ray

tried a place called wheels america cost $109 each total overhaul
best money Ive ever spent on wheels I had a set of speedline wheels high polished and rebuilt cost me $99 at the time plus a few dollas for odds and ends I have to dig in my receipts but thats the name and they have several shops across US mine were done in NYC,LI
theres one in TX, LA and I forget where else do the google thing

but I have to inform you these guys are very good and very cheap very unusual to say those 2 words in the same sentence I will never go to anyone else and the one in TX does wheel widening as well, forget the price..

A place here in the DFW area did mine on my '79 TA called TLC. The outer lip had severe curb rash, they fixed, buffed and clear coated them for about $100 per rim. If in the DFW area I'll give you their info...need to put a location in your profile.

I'm in georgia. One of the front has a little curb rash but its the middle hole where the cap pops in that I REALLY need fixed . Without it the cap will not stay on like it is. Thanks guys Daniel Ray
