What's the best size rim and what backspacing for a 28x9" MT ET Slicks?

Thanks alot. For any replies:D

8"X4" BS (or 3.75)

Thanks alot azgn, just wanted to find out before hand. Instead of trial and error. Don't want know rubbing going on here.

With iron drums you'll probably be fine. Aluminum drums are a little thicker and you'll be awful close to the outer lip. FWIW, I run 295/50/15s on 8" rims with a 3½" BS. Those are a little wider than 9" and they don't rub. (iron drums)

O.k, I tried 2 diff. rims today with 3.5 BS. one was a 7" rim, the other was a 9' rim?
The 7" rim actually looked the best under the car with the MT 28x9" slicks.

? is, Is this rim to small for the tire and do I need atleast a 8" rim.
Couldn't find a 8" rim today or I would have tried it .

Everything in my Summit catalog says 28x9s need a 8-10" rim. Not saying it won't work, you'll have to try it. BFG drag radials in the 275/60 size are 28" with an 8.8 tread width and will work on a 7" rim. I have personally done that combo before. It's a squeeze, but it works.
