ring problem

so the motor was smoking, you noticed the radiator hose popped off...it was sitting there overheating with no coolant...
and your wondering if the cause of your problem is because you think the rings were installed wrong?

im not trying to defend the builder, but, those are things worth mentioning in a thread like this

The smoke i noticed yes, the radiator hose I noticed after the fact, when the car was off...and I never said it overheated or did I say it had no coolant... I said i didnt know how hot the motor got... I am not sure what happnd... All I know is my car is stuck home in the garage....

I doubt any motor, even a dry one, could get hot enough to do any damage running only 1 minute!
