First of all, this is a beautiful downpipe and the craftsmanship is top notch. This is not in any way a post to knock the dp in any way.
I have a stock 39K GN that I installed the pipe in and I immediately saw some fitment issues with the inner fender well and the A/C lines. The A/C lines were easy enough to manipulate and stretch out of the way. The inner fender well is another story.
The pipe also was resting right on the fuel return and vent lines on the x-member once everything was hooked up and tightened down. I tried loosening the DP bolts and force the exhaust assembly upward, it just works it's way back down.
I have read posts where people cut out a section of the fender well to accomodate the DP's. Is this the only option if I want to use this DP? Also, are there any tricks to relocating the exhaust hanger to get more lift and less stress on the cat and DP?
Hate to start chopping her up if I don't have to.....
