RJC Biggie filter adapter???

So I'm about to purchase an RJC oil pan. Is there any "real" advantage to getting a biggie adapter as well other than a bigger filter? If the oil is changed frequent, is the bigger filter really an advantage?

It flows better so there's less pressure drop. The real world benefits are more pressure at idle and less bypass oil going around the filter media.


It's worth the money if you're still running the oil cooler sammich adapter.

I've removed the cooler way back. Do I still need the adapter or will a bigger filter fit already?

If you don't have the sammich adapter anymore, the biggie kit won't work.

you can get still an adapter for biggie filter without oil cooler.
its basically a spin on bushing metric inside sae thread outside
