Well, in my greed to quench the need for speed, I turned up the wick on my WE4 rather quickly (see combo below). I was up to 28 psi and in back road testing it felt great! However, I popped the head gasket on cylinder #5 during my second run the following day at the dragstrip. Yes, this was with 93 octane and alky, and I wasn't as diligent in my tuning as I should have been... there was a little bit of KR and that was all it took! It was my personal lack of delayed gratification that caused this to occur and I am in no way blaming the Power Plate as it works well in both my WE4 and GN. They seem to have eliminated my "transitional knock" that is associated with alky use. FWIW, I had been running around with 25 psi or so till I decided to really light the fire for track use. For daily use in my GN I am at about 23 psi and it works fine. Planning on getting one for my T-Type when it finally gets on the road.
