You should be able to use the existing bolts. I know I can reuse them on the ones I make.
If by some chance you only have 2 threads biting, don't run them. Make sure you have plenty of thread engagement and you'll be fine. No locktite needed.

i used some ARP 1.75" long bolts. part number 651-1750 for a 5-pack. the stock bolts are 1.5" long. to see how deep the bolt holes are threaded, i tried it with a 2" long bolt, socket-head cap-screw was laying around, and that bottomed out, so then i tried the 2" bolt with a thick washer and that didn't bottom out. the flanged head of the ARP bolt fits into the recess just right. Factory Service Manual says torque to 25 Lbs.-Ft.
