I used distilled water and the sealing pellets, in my radiator, in my new engine. Should I now flush it out, knowing that I don't have any leaks. My radiator is 5 years old. Would this RMI-25 stuff help? Where do I get it. I have tried to do a search on the RMI-25 and can't find anything.

I don't use anything but coolant and water. Why do you guys use RMI?

If you blow a head gasket and anti freeze gets in the crankcase, kiss your bearings goodbye. RMI-25 is a additive that keeps the system clean and conditioned and will not hurt bearings if it gets in the case. In the summer month or in warmer climates, thats the way to go.

I use the RMI -25 here also, keeps the radiator very clean and helps stabalize the PH levels in older antifreeze to inhibit rust.
