rockers

I'm putting in a roller cam to replace a flat tappet that has 1 or possibly 2 worn lobes. Is it necessary to go with roller rockers or can I get by with the stock ones?

I ran the stock rockers with a 212 roller. When I did replace them with t&d rollers,they were fine. I would upgrade to solid h/d shafts for peace of mind.
