Rockers?

Okay I'm doing my lower intake gasket and vave cover gaskets The plastic circle things are going to middle of my rockers can someone give me a crash worse on what they are and do? Minor little loose and seem not to be in the best of shape

The keep the rocker arms located on the rocker shaft. And it's normal for them to be loose.

When you put them in MAKE SURE to push them in nice and straight. It's easy to pop the heads off, even when new.
