Anyone see that show that started this week? Tommy Lee, Gilby Clarke, and Jason Newsted forming a band and needing a lead singer....
Just hope they don't make the same mistake INXS did by picking the least liked and cocky person only because he wrote a one hit wonder song..the reviews of their shows now they are on tour have been horrible.

Anyway, the idiot that got kicked off last night was told that the Goo Goo Dolls song he did the night before did not rock it up enough....so what does he do last night, sings a Duran Duran song to rock it up...what an idiot...
Looks to me like they may end up with a chick singing, they seem to be the only ones on the show that can sing this time around.

I still think Chris did worse than the guy they kicked off though - that version of Roxanne was just horrific and LA Woman wasn't much better.

I bet they do end up with a woman fronting the band, they are the only ones that really impressed me. Hopefully this Tommy Lee project doesn't stink as bad as his solo effort.

If this new show is anything like supergroup w/ Sebastian Bach and Nugent etc... I won't bother. I grew up in the 80's and these guys need to realize that ITS OVER!!!!! They had their time to shine now give it up and let the noobies take over. Sometimes its better to fade away! Just my 2cents.

Yes, Chris and Phil did much worse than the guy that got booted, but he didn't listen to them was the bottom line with him I think, I think they kicked him off because he picked Duran Duran, and then asked for a second chance to rock them harder...too bad, Thurs was his second chance and he brought D D.
Yes, Supergroup was a disappointment, sounded the same old 80's style. SuperNova says they are looking for something different, not heavy metal, but a new sound...at least they may end up with a hot young chick singer...maybe tatoo'd up a bit though or maybe not cause the dudes on that show can't sing...at least its entertaining since I like most music.

I firgured that was part of getting on the show :tongue: I know a girl that did audition of the show and it went very well she was told, but she didn't make the final cut...and she's very hot too but didn't give it up I guess :biggrin:
