Hello, I am new to the Grand National, but not to turbo vehicles. I have a stock 87 with 127600 miles. I know its high but it was very well taken care of all its life. This is what it does:
First start up it revs to 2000-2200 then comes down, when it comes down, it goes too low and wants to shut off(sometimes it does). It goes right back up to 2000-2200 and then down again. This occurs for about 30 seconds. It then settles down but i can hear a little bit of stuttering. I let it warm up for about 2 minutes and it idles fine.
Then i take it out on the road. When i first give it gas, it wants to die and then quickly responds and goes but when it goes, it stutters. After about 5-10 minutes of driving like this, it runs fine with no issues. Is this normal in these cars? Is this common? Any ideas? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
