yesterday i was attempting to drive the car to andy and was merging into traffic not even really on the gas ( babying it ) and it was just like i threw it in nuetral. no reverse, no drive gears at all. all i had was park. we towed it back to the shop and now it sits until i am ready to deal with this car again. andy must have evaporated or something because i know i've called him atleast 20 times since last friday with no answer, and no return call from my messages. oh well, i'll deal with it when i get back from north carolina.

make sure you wish your mother a happy mothers day.

atleast the ticking noise stopped that i thought was coming from the converter.:D

Hey Peterkin.. I know your probably ready to start the car on fire but before you do so let me chime in. Take the tranny out yourself, when time permits, and do it right. Let the tranny sit until you have the $$$ for Bruce T billet assembly. His billet assembly sells itself! No more aggrevation... I had enough with taken my tranny to everyone who claimed their expertise with the 2004R.. Learned my lesson the hard way $$$.. IMO save your money and buy a nice convertor from Bruce T also. Then email me with your 11 second time slip :). HTH..

Hey, if its any concilation, mine did the same thing 'bout 6 months ago. Just pulled it apart sunday and last night (I had a lot of other stuff to do this winter). the pump rotor looked like it had exploded. Bits of vanes everywhere. Chewed up my (then new) PTS convertor (on the hub) and all. I'm looking at it as a time to upgrade to some billet stuff from Bruce if I can scrape enough cash together, unless Bruce finances:D . The pump ain't no thing to r&r, its just the cleaning of everything else inside that needs to be done that sucks. I hope the ATSG manual I have doesn't skip anything important. -Chuck
