Is it any good? Why I ask because I can get this at a fairly good price. My engine allways see Mobil 1 15-50 full synthetic oil. Just bought some Mobil 1 recently at $4.88/quart. The prices keep one getting higher, last year it was in the low $4 range.

I've been using it the last few months because I also can get it pretty cheap seems to work fine. I also used it in my mustang for years never had a problem.

IMO it's the best oil on the market. I use it all the time. I know a guy that sell it and can get it for $3.90 a quart.

Good luck

IM not sure how it compares to Mobil 1. They are both good oils. I work in the oil & gas buisness and all the refineries use royal purple on all there equipment. They say it's the best. There have been test done on both of these oil, but im not sure where they are.

Hope that helps.

To tell you the truth on the weight of the oil, I don't know? I use what most guys use, I was told on older car use a higher number?

So where can I order it for $4.00 from? That is about what I pay for Mobil 1 so I would switch.

Wally World had Mobile 1 15w50 Full Synthetic for 3.88 a quart if you buy a case...I bought a case...

Is 15w50 good to use in cold weather? I have 60,000 miles on my stock motor and am using 10w30 Mobil 1. WIll it hurt to go to 15w50?

Buy it by the drum - major savings! Of course, it doesn't hurt that Royal Purple's plant is ~ 90 miles down the road. I got a drum for $563 which works out to $2.56 a QT.

Jackson, I use the 10-40 Royal 75.00 per 5 gallons. I noticed the engine temp dropped too!!

Are you guys talking about the Street oil or the racing oil?
I was looking at the #41 racing oil but it was $8.00 a Qt.
The street oil was around 5~6 per Qt.

Are there any distributors on this site? I would like to buy a 5 gallon container but places like Jegs and Summit want a lot of money per quart.

2 advantages I can point out for royal purpal-less windage , yes really. and it doesnt "find" leaks in motor. I cant find it either. BTW, has anyone heard of a smoking turbo from running heavier weight oils?
