Have you guys used the Royal Purple motor oil or trans fluid? Is it any good? Worth the price?

i used it once and i drove 700 miles. got my best fuel economy ever at 25, 27 and then 26mpg! i guess it works, but i dont like the fact that it always looks burnt since it starts as a dark purple!

I run it in my Harleys and the Infinity. The Harleys run cooler and smoother.
The G35 Gas mileage went from 21.8 to 22.3 after the oil change (going from the oil at the dealership) even the wife asked what i did to her car as it seemed smoother, If the chic notices then thats something in my book...wel at least with my ole lady which is get in and go.

I run the trans fluid.

Can't say for sure but I was told by the trans guy that most Illinois guys use that the trans temperatures will be about 20 degress less compared to a conventional trans oil. No gauge yet but everyone knows heat kills the transmission. I just had my trans freshened with a new secret goody so I had to buy another case of it. Yes it did hurt the pocket.:(

I use the oil and the radiator fluid treatment/water wetter stuff. Haven't used their line of trans fluid. Their stuff works great, pricey though.

Yeah pretty pricy. I bought 5qts of 5w30 and 6qts of trany fluid and trany and oil filters and the grand total came to $129.oo. Ouch!! Beats a rebuild though:D

I started using it on my S2 motor religiously. I like it. The motor is in storage now with a pan full of it right now.
