RPM's with my combo?

I have never tried to shift my car mainly because the shifter handle is broke and I can only get it down in drive.

The car shifts at 5100 rpm's on its own. Not sure if it will pull past that so I'm just curious what you guys and gals shift your cars at.

No, I have the aftermarket GNX dash with VDO gauges.

I kind of thought my tranny was slipping the other day between shifts. Then I realized the VDO tach is slow settling down to the next gear.
