wow.....I'm impressed

10,000 rpm ain't what it is cracked up to be (no pun intended)

with obd2 computers, they will yuk it up big time down at the Rice store when he tries for a warranty repair

Haha, yeah I checked on the gear ratios, and if he really went from 5th at 7k RPMs (0.921) down into 2nd (2.13) with a quick shift, not letting the engine slow down too much, you're looking at 16k RPMs. Ouch, that's faster than 600 CC sportbikes rev to! Even if he had caught 4th, he would've been north of the rev limiter. It sucks to miss a shift...I never realized how bad!
That oil pan looks like the floor of a busy machine shop!
