So i decided to sand the buick down to metal 2 month's in (Saturday's i work on it) and now i found some bondo hiding some rust on bottom of door's not much...so..question is should i keep my original doors cut rust and weld new sheet metal.. or just get some donor door's? Also the driver door still has original sticker which i believe is tire load info the vin paint code etcc..which is why im debating fixing the door's and keeping it original, me personally i would rather buy a vehicle with the correct sticker's from factory still intact..so im having a tough one pls give me feedback on what some of you would do..? thanks,

Chris

you should just get new doors and there is a place here on the forums if u keep the info you can have a repo sticker made. rust is a cancer and even if you cut and weld in a new piece rust could still find its way back. the only real way to eliminate rust is either cut it out and panel bond a new piece in ( panel bond seals the whole area ) or replace with a new door thats rust free.

thanks im goiong to find new doors! if anyone has info on where i can get the 2 repro stickers for the driver door please let me know i will peel off the paint chunks on which the stickers are on.
