i found my first rust today several inches of "bubbled" metal behing the left rear tire at the point where the fender well meets the trunk pan, is there a easy way to fix this?

Easy, no. Get a rust free patch panel and have the "cancer" cut out.

about how much are we looking at if a body man does the work?

Go over to Hannabas and Rowe auto body on the corner of Salem ave & 5th st. Ask for Dennis (owner) and tell him David with the Syclone sent you (if he looks at you like youre from another planet then tell him Im the big guy, a Chevy man, with the loud black S-10, and I used to work for him). He wont do the work for free but will prolly make you a decent deal.

Just keep in mind rust isnt cheap to fix correctly.

Just spent $6700 to have my car stripped, two patch panels put in place of rusty spots and a nos rocker panel installed on passenger side. Sikkens base coat/clear coat paint that looks SWEET!

It should be a long time before my car sees rust again!

Also had two rust free clean doors hung and dings taken out!

hey my clone, you aut to stop by fast freddys some day when the gn club gets togeather, we had 5 gns and my 442 out there the other week and thats not even all of us

i think ill stop by ruttlages monday and that auto shop that you listed and get quotes, who knows, i hope its under 200-300 bucks id hate to let it set. hey is there any chance of my tires 275/60/15s rubbing this flake and sliting them? i might have to hammer the well in some before i put on the new drs.
