Well guys, it's down to purchasing the right turbo. Innovative 94mm, Turbonetics 98mm, Precision GT-47 or ????

272 Duttweiler dry sump S2
S2 heads 340 flow
100mm TB
liquid to air intercooler
160 lb injectors
Burhead custom 1 7/8" headers
DFI Gen 7
Art Carr 4500 stall ( will be eventually replaced with Neal Chance or Protorque)
T-400

Looking to make 1400HP. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Richie Kibler made good power with the GT-47 and was still able to race it.
If you need to go bigger than that I would consider a BB Turbo from Innovative or Turbonetics.

BTW your motor will make more than 1400HP!

Have Had Some Good Luck With A 91.5 Pte Unit , Low 5's In 1/8 , Good Spool Also Went 169.5 @3200lbs With A Decent Converter.

Innovative recommended a 91MM(1500plus FWHP), 94 MM(1650FWHP) or 98MM (1700FWHP) Large Frame with a 1.02 A/R.
They do not offer a ball bearing large frame at this time.

Precision's Answer

GT-47-88 1500FWHP @ 40PSI
GT-55-91 1600FWHP @ 30PSI
PT91 F Trim with .92 A/R @ 30PSI

All the boost numbers are what it would take to make the 1500 Goal.

My previous post is confusing.

Precision's Answer

GT-47-88 1500FWHP Max, 1500 @ 40PSI
GT-55-91 1600FWHP Max, 1500 @ 30PSI
PT91 F Trim with .92 A/R 1550FWHP Max, 1500 @ 30PSI

All the boost numbers are what it would take to make the 1500 Goal.

Turbonetics has a BB 91MM Large Frame that they recommend for this application.

Mike,

All the answers are right there, go and buy something!!!
