I just got an e-mail....and was told that Pete suddenly passed away while working at his desk today. He planned to retire next year. I hadn't seen Pete in a couple of years, but he used to be a staple at all the Buick events. Back in the day he hauled his GN around in a converted Frito-Lay truck! As I recall, it was an 8-second car too! RIP Pete.. some of you may remember that truck from back in the 90's...I do:(...

RIP Pete

That is so sad. RIP, Pete. He was always very nice and willing to talk with spectators. Car was very clean, and I watched him work his way down from 9's to 8.2's or maybe 8.3's over the years. He was a regular at the Englishtown Mustang GN shootout on Labor Day in the 90's and early 00's, and came down to Cecil Co several times. You will definitely be missed, Pete.

I remember Jack Cotton driving a FritoLay truck back then, but not Pete. Maybe Jack got it from Pete?

That truck is a land mark next to his shop. i think it was about 2 feet (a little over half a meter to you canucks) buried in the dirt full of used Buick parts

RIP Pete

I will miss Pete he would bring his beautiful car the the NEBRA events and all the big Buick events.

A picture of his wheelstanding car was my wallpaper for years on my PC...

Oh my god. Pete was probably my all time favorite Buick guys. He and jacquie were always cordial and always invited me and my family to hang with them. I don't go to many racing event anymore, but knowing they won't be there anymore makes me feel terrible. My condolences to Jacquie. Pete, you'll be missed my friend.
