Salt Lake City,UT:What to do?????

I'm going to be in Salt Lake at the end of Sept. for work. What is there to do there? What are the hot bars, clubs or boob bars to go to???? Frank

The high point of the 9 months I spent training at Hill AFB during my flight training was a visit to the Browning museum in Ogden, UT. John Browning designed many of the guns made by the gun manufacturers today.

He designed most of the current shotguns by Remington, Browning, Savage and prolly others. He designed the Army .45, the BAR, and several other machine guns.

It was interesting to look at those relics and his modest equipment and realize he was a creative genius.

Very interesting place. The Bonneville salt flats are just west of Salt Lake.

There ARE a FEW decent places to go, (like "Southern Xposure" or the Million $ Saloon) but "nightlife" ends at 2:00am around here!

Like lburou said, check out the Bonneville salt flats, check with the SCTA to see if they are land speed racing when you are out there, http://www.scta-bni.org/

Even if they aren't running Bonneville is one of the coolest places I have ever been. Just go west on I 80 I think it is. Check out the salt flats and continue on to Wendover Nevada and gamble all night.

i am mormon and i am a load of fun............ SLC is creepy to say the least. i will NEVER ever EVER go back. i would much rather get kicked in the nuts once every hour then go back to that place. what an off vibe that place puts out.

the only thing SLC has going for it is lagoon, and the ride where they strap you in to a hammock attached to a pully and wire and rocket you off a building. that is about it.

just my opinion.

Golden Trails titty bar..... cheap pool and beer, free entrance, and boobs walking all around. Some of the upscale hotels have a good bar scene also with some hotties.

SLC is a pretty sleeping place after dark however if you ski/board definately check out Brighton, Snowbird, Alta and many other great resorts.

Can you just tube at any of the snow hills? I don't have a Golden Trails on my list??? I have Trails, Trails 2 and Golden Fleece. Trails and Golden Fleece are both on South 300 West which is only 3 miles from my hotel, the Sheraton on 500 South. Trails 2 is on South State St.

There are a few board members close by buick from hell and race jace from rjc racing. I remember who you are now i bought a set of ported iron heads from you back in february. By the way race jace loves to go to the boobie bars.

You've got to be kidding. You can have as much fun in SLC as any other major town. I used to manage an office in SLC as part of a region. You join a club at the door for five dollars and from there you might as well be in Chicago, or Kansas City. What the hell, who says the mormons can't party.

Golden Trails & Golden Fleece are both smaller places, (read: dives, LOL) basically "beer bars" unless they've went "private" since the last time I've been to 'em, ok places to shoot some pool & watch the girls dance...

Best places would be Southern X or Million$, they usually have several dancers going at once, and you can actually get some pretty good food!

Not sure if I'll be able to get away to have any fun, gotta few "fambly" issues going on at the moment, but maybe what I need is to GET OUT!!!
