Same old miss and knock! Help!!!

Randy, I realize I have other problems but I do have a lot of shaft play in my turbo and it's blowing oil into the throttle body. I don't know what to try and fix first! Money is the biggest problem. The oil that's blowing out of the oil filler tube is really bothering me. But the knock retard I'm getting at the top of second gear is really getting to me. Last night in the dark I raised the hood and could see a couple of spark plug wires arching. Don't know if this could cause knock retard at the higher rpm's? The car runs perfect until you really stab it!!! About ready to find a MATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, R.B.

Yes!! And it can also take out the coil pack.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but after you fix the arching wires if it still does it check to make sure that the fuel pressure is going up at a 1-1 ratio with the boost.In other words if you it is set at 41 at idle and you increase boost by 10 lbs the fuel pressure it should be at at least 51 lbs.
 
The fuel pressure does go up as it should with the boost. New ignition module and coil pack. Wires are now iffy!
 
You better replace the wires and plugs quickly or as mentioned it will knock out a coil pack. I thought you said you replaced the wires? You said you replaced the plugs also , but if you have a bad plug wire it can cause your plug to foul. You need a good foundation of known good parts to find any weird miss problem.
I would pull the valve covers and check your rockerarms for cam lobe travel and springs for breakage.
 
I did replace the wires about 4 months ago and the plugs last week. Obviously I have one or two bad wires. I will put on a new set tommorrow. What's the best wires I can get around here or Dallas? And you're right I should probably take off the valve covers and take a peek. Only problem is it being a daily driver and the crazy hours I'm working. Hard to find time, and money of course. R.B.
