Sandpaper?

Where can I get some sandpaper to smooth out paint? I've been to hardware stores and the best they carrry is 300, but that is way too rough to get paint smooth....wher can I get the 1000,1500,2000 that people always brag that they sand with?

wetsand is good for doing stuff like paint.

Everybody has a walmart around, try the automotive paint and touch up area, they have the half sheets there.

Look in the Yellow Pages under, "automotive body shop supplies". They all stock wet n' dry paper.
