Saved another 86 T type!!!

Well I just picked up a 86 Ttype nothing done to it all orginal.well other then what I did to get it running.it has T Tops no rust under the rubbers.car has elphant skin paint but all there found a kid selling it for 6500 it has to be one of the first off the line innercooler says 6-17-85 build sheet says 85 but its a 86 even has the billet alum that holds the incooler fan to the pully,also has a va2 on the rpo has 136,000 on the clock a/c still blows cold just a lot of cleaning.

As u can see the 86 mats never been moved by the dirt line.also all the black grey trim panels still have the protective film.its like opening a christmas present.digital climate control power threw out.but a peg leg.from what I got from the kid the guy who owned it has had it since 92 till 2013 then sold it to a younger kid in jan.the kid didn't think the car was all that so he parts ways with it.lucky me.low an behold he had the tps at 26volts iac open to much an a whole bunch if dry rot all the hosens are still gm marked.still has r-12 blows cold nothing has been moved or messed with.

Ok last pic's.but one thing I do have to ask you guys.I know its mine an free to do what I want but what do you think I should do with it leave it an just cruz it or add a little to it.what do you guys think? Your opion is appreciated.

I would clean it up and cruise it. Maybe new carpet and misc, but it looks to be a clean cruiser. Here in CA, i would throw a pump, fuel lines, and injectors at it and play with e85. Fun stuff!

Well,so far I put on a translator an maf,009 injectors,adjustable fuel reg,TT chip,new fuel pump an hot wire.also have a thdp an car has a cat back system.an still needs to be put on.but as for now I'm just enjoying the t tops an a/c.

Amazing find. Get it running perfectly and don't mod it too much. Drive it the way it is. They are still plenty fun more or less stock.
