After reading all this I feel the need to share some info on my boat. It's actually quite funny. My boat is one of a few made in the line before it was cancelled for insurance reasons. It's a Regal Sebring, it is 18'10" long and I got it with the "shortly available" Mercruiser 350 with the Alpha One drive. The boat is INSANE. I actually had to return the boat to the factory 4 years after I bought it because the torque was so huge it actually ripped the hull stringers away from the fiberglass. So they built me a new hull that was more reinforced and put my motor and drive in it. The boat is wicked fast. With the 21" prop on it I hit 67 MPH at the top. Pretty wild ride in a boat that small. I have been driving boats since I was 7 and only my "feel" of the boat has saved us a few times when air got under us and I cut the throttle before we lost control, thats why they discontuned it, it is a really dangerous boat if you don't know what you are doing, but it really is one wild ride.

Forget the 350 combo, and install a Scat 9000 stroker 383 crank and speed pro hyp. pistons, cost $190 crank and $130 for the pistons. This is the best way to make good torque, add the vortec heads and roller cam, air gap intake, good 750 holley dp.

Garrenteed power.

Proven combo.

Just advice, it is more than just bolt on, but it is well worth the effort!!!
