scanmaster 2.1 vs 2.2 with powerlogger?

i'm looking to coordinate a scanmaster with a powerlogger. got a chance to get a v 2.1. what would i have to do to the 2.1 to make it compatible with the powerlogger or should i just get the 2.2?

The 2.1 works great with the powerlogger.
You need to get the upgrade chip for the scanmaster from Full Throttle.
I just did this a couple of weeks ago, it's a real nice upgrade.
