I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of somewhere else to mount the scanmaster for a cleaner out of the way look? I was trying to find a way to install up near rear view mirror maybe with doublesided tape or a makeshift bracket. If anyone has any pictures/ideas please let me know. I'm just not happy with current location just above radio. Thanks

this would all be so simple if they'd offer it in a form that allows it to fit in a standard gauge holder..

My thoughts exactly. I have long thought it could be redesigned into a gauge. If I were skilled enough I would make a prototype myself.

For giggles, I put mine in the left vent hole. I actually works pretty good there.

a couple of years ago i posted up on the forum of the company that makes it that they should either rework them to fit into a gauge panel or put a plug on it and sell an external display that fits into a gauge hole so the box could be hidden up under the dash... a bunch of people called me an idiot and one of the guys that works there said it would never happen..
apparently people like having something that looks like an early 90's vintage radar detector looking all out of place in their car...

In the fabrication section there are step by step instructions and parts list to make a bracket to attach the scanmaster to the rearview mirror. I have purchased the parts and am currently working my install.

or if you even just mount a remote led screen on the dash etc would be nice.. And if guys are running dakota digitals incorporate it into that....

Its nice to have it out so that you can slide it on the dash and see the display while setting the TPS and IAC.
